New Rescue Boat Placed In Service

The Fame Fire Company took delivery of a new Zodiac MilPro Grand Raid MK II inflatable rescue boat with a 30 horsepower Evinrude E-TEC outboard motor. Boat 53-1 will be our new first out boat for water rescue emergencies. Boat 53-2, also a Grand Raid MK II with a 25 horsepower Evinrude E-TEC outboard motor, will serve as our second out boat. Special thanks to our vendor Cumberland Marine Repair, LLC. for working with us through the procurement process!

The Fame Fire Co. No. 3 is Ready PA Type 2A Swiftwater Rescue Team and our members follow the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission water rescue curriculum.
