Members Complete Emergency Boat Operations Training

This weekend nine members from the Fame Fire Co. No. 3 conducted Emergency Boat Operation and Rescue (EBOR) training through WhiteCap Water Rescue Training, LLC. Members conducted this training at the Susquehanna River.

Having qualified and competent boat operators is imperative to the safety of those the WCFD protects. During Hurricane Ida, the Fame’s boats were launched at over a dozen separate incidents.
