East Bradford Township, PA - June 18, 2023

At approximately 3:56 PM, the West Chester Borough Fire Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and West Chester Borough Police Department responded to an accident reported with entrapment on Downingtown Pike in the area of McCardle Drive , East Bradford Township.

Chief 51 (Pelna) arrived on-scene and assumed command of the incident requesting additional EMS units.
Volunteers of the WCFD worked quickly to rescue three patients who were trapped in the involved vehicles. A total of five patients were transported to a local hospital by EMS.

Assisting West Chester at the scene were Goshen Fire Company EMS, Uwchlan Ambulance Corps and West Chester Fire Police.
The accident remains under investigation by WCPD.
