Building Fire response to WC Borough Apartment Complex

West Chester Borough, PA - April 27, 2023
The WCFD along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, West Whiteland Fire Company and West Chester Borough Police Department were dispatched for a building fire in the 200 block of South Matlack Street, West Chester Borough.
The caller reported a smoke condition in the hallway with alarms sounding. WCFD volunteers arrived and confirmed the cause of the incident was a cooking malfunction.
