West Chester Borough, PA - February 6, 2023

This morning at approximately 11:00 AM, volunteers of the First West Chester Fire Co., Engine Co. 51 were alerted for a gas leak in the 400 block of North High Street, West Chester Borough.

Crews arrived to find a contractor had struck a gas line while working in the roadway. The scene was secured until PECO arrived at the scene.

WCFD units were available at 11:28 AM.
